Police Confirm Death Of Cruise Ship Visitor
The police have confirmed the death of a 62-year-old female cruise ship visitor saying that she “apparently fell from her jet ski and into the water, losing consciousness.”
A police spokesperson said, “At about 11:05am today [Monday] police and other first responders attended a report of an unresponsive female who fell off of a jetki whilst on a jetski tour in the area of Cambridge Beaches in Sandys.
“Details are still emerging, but it appears that 62-year-old female cruise ship visitor apparently fell from her jet ski and into the water, losing consciousness, CPR was performed as she was taken via a boat to the hospital, where the 62-year-old Massachusetts woman was later pronounced dead.
“No further information will be given until the next of kin has been notified.”
